'That'll Flat Git It!' that was the verbal signature of Memphis disc jockey Dewey Phillip, who first played none other than Elvis Presley on the radio.... And 'That'll Flat Git It' is the name of our Bear Family Records Rockabilly CD series!

We set out to find the best sounding tapes. Then had them edited by the leading mastering specialists and also set new standards in terms of packaging. We chose ' That'll Flat Git It!', the verbal signature of the first rockabilly disc jockey Dewey Phillips, as the overarching series title. We also sought out unpublished photographic material and tracked down information on all those performers who had previously been searched for in vain. The bottom line is our unique That'll Flat Git It! series!
