This 3CD compilation of 85 songs shows the enormous influence the Beatles had on a multitude of artists of various genres in numerous countries from the very beginning.
Included are Mary Wells, Count Basie, Cilla Black, Joe Cocker, PJ Proby, Mae West, Jose Feliciano, Jimmy James, Liza Minelli and many more.
After the release of the band's first single, "Love Me Do" in October 1962, Beatlemania set in almost immediately, and soon their own recordings, as well as cover versions by others, were ubiquitous.
In this collection we find artists from France, Holland, America, Italy, New Zealand, Hungary and Puerto Rico, all proving that the Beatles' songs were so great that it didn't matter what language they were sung in.
