Jeannie C. Riley – Tell The Truth And Shame The Devil (BCD17636)
29 tracks (approx. 75 min) from her defining Plantation period (1968–1971). A peak-phase document: 24 country and 6 pop hits, including Harper Valley P.T.A., a cross-chart landmark. Stylistically: hard honky tonk with a distinct Texan vocal edge, backed by elite Nashville session players under Jerry Kennedy. Long undervalued, these recordings are reassessed here as genre-defining. Includes a 48-page booklet (Martin Hawkins) based on primary interviews and rare photos.

The Brother Boys – New Hillbilly Music (2-CD, BCD17685)
51 tracks (approx. 157 min), Award of Excellence 2024 (East Tennessee Historical Society). Not revival, but synthesis: country, folk, bluegrass, blues, and rockabilly reconfigured into a forward-looking sound. Includes the 1988 debut, Sugar Hill recordings, unreleased live/radio material, and later works up to 2022. Carefully remastered from original sources—coherent, non-derivative, historically grounded.
