Recorded in France, produced by Chris Dussuchaud. Great singer, great production, awesome album. Mostly all-acoustic, very cool settings and instrumentation. Forget everything you ever learned about Chicago style blues. This is the way European are playing that shit, today. And they are great. One the best female blues albums in recent times. Highly recommended!

The love affair between Europe and the Blues began in the early 50s with the arrival of Big Bill Broonzy. Broonzy performed in Limoges, France where most of the musicians on this album come from. Zora Young first performed in Europe in 1981 and has followed with more than 20 tours in France which firmly establishes her as the Chicago blueswoman record-holder! "She's classy with that subtle mix of hip, mischief and dignity on stage", says Bobby Dirninger. Producer Chris Dussuchaud suggested a half electric - half acoustic album.
