Jimmie Vaughan: Do You Get The Blues? (CD)

(The Last Music Company) 11 tracks, digisleeve

After its release in 2001, this magnificent album was awarded a Grammy Award for “Best Traditional Blues Album.” Twenty years later, it was released on vinyl for the first time to mark Jimmie's 70th birthday, and now, in 2025, it is available again on CD.
At the time of its original release, the album marked the beginning of a new era for Jimmie. The turn of the century and a new love in his life sparked a period of intense creativity that led to these recordings. As Jimmie recounts in the accompanying notes, despite all expectations, the record unfortunately never got the start it deserved, as the release party was booked for September 11, 2001, in Austin.
