An old-school haven for fine music in this mad world, a boutique UK label specializing in fine blues, jazz, rockabilly and roots music, initiated in 2018 by award-winning Proper Music organization’s founder, chairman, and lifetime music enthusiast Malcolm Mills who’s regarding the record label his "semi-retirement project."
The Last Music Co. is a small traditional record company. Contemporary artists on the label include Texas blues-rock original Jimmie Vaughan, American singer-songwriter Bill Kirchen and Nashville’s legendary Dan Penn & Spooner Oldham. The catalogue feature timeless albums from Chilli Willi & the Red-Hot Peppers, The Balham Alligators, Eddie Bo and Chris Barber among others. There will be a handful of carefully selected new releases each year.
