Various - Radio Bremen: Oldiebörse - Cover und Original (CD)

1-CD with 28-page booklet, 30 titles, playing time 81 minutes.

The comparison of 15 successful cover versions and their originals, chart songs from the USA, England and Germany, sought-after rarities from stars and outsiders. Popular songs from four decades, including Country & Rock'n'Roll, Schlager & Pop. - Cover versions are among the most popular objects among fans and collectors. It doesn't matter whether the songs and/or performers come from the same or similar styles - unusual 'new editions' of a title are often even more exciting. Bear Family, in conjunction with Radio Bremen's 'Oldie Börse', exclusively offers a 'pair run' of a special kind. A colourful mix of country & rock'n'roll, pop and pop hits, which will hit fans and collectors alike.

Oldie stock exchange, the third...

As the wave chief of the most successful radio programme in the state of Bremen, one is a bit proud to have a programme on the programme that has lost none of its charm and freshness even after 14 years.

On the contrary!

The fan community continues to grow thanks to the Internet and satellite, and the first Monday of the month is no longer 'only' a compulsory date for listeners from the immediate broadcasting area.

The response to the search for hidden record treasures is not only shown by the hot running telephone lines during the broadcast, but also by the immense listener mail afterwards!

With this programme, we at Bremen Eins once again underline our competence in the field of oldies and at the same time offer oldies fans a service that is second to none in the German radio landscape.

I am pleased about the third CD, which the Oldie stock exchange experts Dirk Böhling and Thomas Schönherr present.

Title-giving is a column of the monthly transmission, which offers once more a singularness.

Cover & Original' unites well-known titles and their well-done post-productions on one sound carrier and presents a considerable number of rarities, which can be found for the first time on one CD!

After '10 Jahre Oldiebörse' and 'ON AIR - die bekannten Erkennungsmelodien aus 60 Jahre Radio Bremen' this is the third trick of the Oldiebörse.

Our listeners and all Oldie fans have a lot of fun with this great CD and the Oldie Stock Exchange team and continue to enjoy hours of fun every first Monday of the month at 8 pm on Bremen Eins!

That's what

Radio Bremen Eins
