Les Cousins was a folk and blues club in the basement of a restaurant on Greek Street in London's Soho district, which became the center of the folk revival in the mid-1960s.
In the mid-1960s, it was a place where musicians met and learned from each other. As such, it was influential in the careers of so many pioneers - Al Stewart, Davey Graham, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Sandy Denny, John Martyn, Alexis Korner, Strawbs, Roy Harper, Paul Simon and many others.

The significance of the club for the scene at the time is now being honored with a triple CD featuring the illuminati of folk music from this period as well as lesser-known names who performed in this basement in Greek Street. Compiled and annotated by folk historian and fRoots editor/publisher Ian Anderson, who played at the venue himself, "Les Cousins" is a worthy tribute to a unique time and place in the history of British folk music.
