Since her acclaimed debut on VizzTone in 2007, Gina Sicilia has been known as a uniquely talented blues and soul singer who soon expanded her range to include all kinds of American roots music, working with producers like Dave Gross, Dave Darling, Glenn Barratt, Cody Dickinson and now Colin Linden.

Colin raves, "Gina's pure blues, old world, old soul, new sound, every day was a new approach about sharing joy, heartbreak and redemption."

Once they began pre-production, Gina and Colin discovered a shared fondness for classic gospel music, setting the tone for the sessions. The album features some classics by Shirley Caesar and Reverend Gary Davis, as well as a variety of contemporary styles, but all tracks are of the deeply emotional delivery and that and the sometimes restrained, sparse atmosphere that allows Gina and Colin to shine through.
