Singer/songwriter and Curb Records artist Nessa Lea has had a deep love for music since she was a young girl growing up in the beautiful, rural area of Tennessee, just south of Nashville. With influences ranging from Loretta Lynn to Queen to Lana Del Rey, and an extensive songwriting catalog of her own, the naturally reserved singer has spent most of her life keeping her music to herself. But Music City has a way of working its magic. Nessa found
at the Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre in Nashville - which served as the backdrop for part of the 1975 movie Nashville - performing classic cover songs while guests dined. One of those guests, country music historian, author and producer Don Cusic, knew her voice needed to be recognized. Cusic worked with Nessa to record some of the many songs she had written and eventually shared the music with Curb Records chairman Mike Curb, who wasted no time in offering Nessa a record deal. Those closest to her describe her as a very good friend and a deep well of secrets. The world can only get better if this young talent starts sharing more of herself with us all.
