This is Chris Young's ninth album since he released his first self-titled album in 2006 and almost three years have passed since his last album "Famous Friends". Young had already drawn attention to his album last year when he unveiled his latest single, the album's title track. For Young Love & Saturday Nights, he borrowed from one of the great rock and pop singers David Bowie when Young included his hit "Rebel Rebel", which is quite unusual.
With 18 new songs, Chris Young gives his longtime fans a lot of new music to get familiar with on Young Love & Saturday Nights, and while it may be a lot to digest for some, Young Love and Saturday Nights is in this case one of the best projects in Chris Young's long career.
