Brett Young, der als einziger Country-Act zu Shazams "Emerging Artists of 2017" gilt, hat mit seinen ehrlichen Texten und dem West Coast-meets-Southern-Sound, der treffend "Caliville"-Stil genannt wird, die Herzen der Fans erobert. Der CMA New Artist of the Yearnominated Entertainer, von dem Rolling Stone Country "für den Massenanreiz bestimmt" war, veröffentlichte sein GOLD-zertifiziertes, selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum letztes Jahr auf BMLG Records. Brett hat auch eine ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year Nominierung erhalten, zwei Association of Independent Music Publisher (AIMP) Awards Nicken: Autor des Jahres und Lied des Jahres für "Sleep Without You" und wurde bei den ASCAP Country Awards 2017 für einen Top Country Song mit "Sleep Without You" geehrt.
