Rusty & Doug Kershaw – Louisiana Man captures the distinctive sound of the Kershaw brothers, combining Cajun, country and a touch of rockabilly. At the heart of the release is the title song “Louisiana Man”, written by Doug Kershaw and released as a major hit by the duo in 1961. The album also features titles such as “Diggy Liggy Lo”, “Cheated Too”, “Cajun Joe (The Bully Of The Bayou)”, “(Our Own) Jole Blon”, “So Lovely Baby”, “Look Around”, “Mister Love”, “Going Down The Road”, “Never Love Again” and “Kaw-Liga”. Rusty & Doug brought traditional Louisiana music together with contemporary country sounds, creating a highly distinctive Cajun-country style. A great choice for anyone who enjoys classic country, Cajun, rockabilly and authentic American roots music.
