The third collection from career policeman and legendary honkytonk singer, guitarist and bandleader Buddy Jones shows his versatility, as he was equally at home in bold barroom songs, country blues and mellow ballads. He was also an excellent yodeler, and the collection includes a couple of blue yodels in the style of Jimmie Rodgers. The CD features many of the great Louisiana musicians of the time, including Moon Mullican (piano), Cliff Bruner (fiddle) and Bob Dunn (electric steel).
