GITTE Nur ein bisschen Glück - Singles 1963-67 (CD)

Gitte Hänning is one of the few interpreters who impress with a musical spectrum that includes pop and hits as well as musical or jazz. Although she makes herself a little scarce in show business today, when she returns to the spotlight, she can be sure of the attention of the audience and the press. She has never disappointed the expectations placed in her. 

The second CD in the Gitte Edition takes us back to the singer's Schlager period. It contains her German recordings from 1964 to mid-1968. You can also hear the songs that didn't make it into the charts here, for example, Die Souvenirs von dir, Gitte's cover version of a Mireille Mathieu hit.

It goes without saying that the duet titles with Rex Gildo are not missing. After all, the two were considered the most popular Schlager couple of the 60s. In addition, this compilation shines with a previously unreleased recording from 1968 (Küss, Küss, Küss) and three English songs that are hardly known in this country. 

All in all, it makes for an interesting and enjoyable mix.
