The Allures met and formed in 1983 at one of the many United In Group Harmony Association (U.G.H.A.) Shows in North Bergen, New Jersey. After a few months of rehearsals, the group began performing in the tri-state area and recording in the studio. Over the past eight years, The Allures released six 45's, appeared on three Cable TV Shows, made guest appearances on four radio shows, (including Don K. Reed's Doo-Wop Shop WCBS-FM 101.1) and performed in countless concerts, clubs, parties and benefits in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
