"In rock 'n' roll, you either die young or you don't die at all. The former can no longer happen to me," said Jutta Weinhold last year when she turned 75. "But sometimes it's also time to look back a little and reflect on how it all began."

At the beginning of the 1970s, Jutta was still part of the ensembles of the musical productions of "Hair" and "Jesus Christ Superstar". In 1974, she took the step into "independence" and the Jutta Weinhold Band was launched. First big fan: Udo Lindenberg. He also pulled some strings in the background during the production of the first Jutta Weinhold album "Coming": Panikorchester guitarist Karl Allaut produced and played the guitars, Udo's producer Thomas Kuckuck was in the studio at the controls, Steffi Stephan, Bertram Engel, Rainer Baumann and Jean-Jacques Kravetz provided the "panic" accompaniment.

The result was a crisp, rock-heavy album - not with Udo on vocals, but with Jutta. The album "Jutta Weinhold" followed in 1978, this time without the Panikorchester, but with a large line-up and plenty of soul. The guys from Lucifer's Friend provided the official backing band - everything was prepared at its finest.
