Curtain up for DJ Don Rogall. He sips a beer and throws a 10'' pop on the turntable. As the scratching howl of a guitar and the stubborn beat mix, a gibberish man in a beret enters the scene and shouts "Woobedoowop, do the Camel Twist!" into a dirty microphone. Plus Lo-Fi effects. Go-Go girls in leopard shreds wind themselves to a booming saxophone. A showgirl appears out of nowhere and, accompanied by screams and whistles, peels out of her Klunkerkleid. The whole room swings wildly in confusion, but in wondrous unity with the rough, earthy and elementary rhythm. This is Hoochie Koo.
