In pure rock 'n' roll terms, there have been only a few compilations by the ladies of this genre. One fundamental reason being that there were fare fewer ladies singing rockin' music back in the fifties and early sixties.

However, there were still quite a few, some good and some bad. The staff of Classics Records has expended a great deal of energy carefully selecting and culling titles for this compilation and, breathing a release of breath and wiping the sweat from furrowed brows, has come up with the excellent thirty tracks inclu-ded on this album. The music ranges from pronounced rhythm 'n' blues through rockin it out to exemplary teen beat.

Enough of this, the best way is to give the con-tent a listen and so: let's hear it from the ladies...
