Tributes ok, but what is a concept album? Concept abums are very interesting due to its certain theme and its musical variety most of the time. A simple Christmas compilation would be too easy to explain concept albums. The better examples are two Bear Family releases, 'Teenagers And Youth In Music 1951-1960' which is thematically on 1950s teens and youngsters and their experiences, and 'Easter Bunny Hop' which thematizes the Easter season with a twinkle. Oh, by the way, Bear Family is so far the only record company that put out an Easter compilation. At least we will stay as the first one that did it. Proud to say! - Well, it's theme time with compilations on such themes as teenage depression, juvenile delinquency, cars and hot rodding, trains and hobos and much more. This category gives you the most in various Rock'n'Roll artists jumpin' up on certain themes presented on CDs and vinyl products.
