Duke Robillard Duke's Mood (Live in Bremen 1985/2008) (3-CD)

Duke Robillard was one of the founders of Roomful Of Blues in the early 1970's and replaced Jimmy Vaughan with the Fabulous Thunderbirds in the 1990's. He was a sideman of Robert Gordon and Bob Dylan, a core member of the New Guitar Summit with a.o. Jay Geils, Gerry Beaudoin and also Randy Bachmann in the 2000s and meanwhile made 37 (!) own albums.

His last studio work 'They Called It Rhythm and Blues' from March d. J., et al. with John Hammond, Sue Foley and Kim Wilson, has been nominated for several blues awards in America. In 1985 Duke Robillard performed in Bremen for the first time, back then with the Pleasure Kings. He gave his second concert 23 years later in Bremen's Musikschuppen Moments, this time with the Duke Robillard Band.
