Running for approximately 51 minutes, it focuses on a selection of recordings that goes beyond the most familiar Gene Pitney hits and includes a number of lesser-known tracks that will appeal to collectors and dedicated fans. The programme features Donna Means Heartbreak, I Must Be Seeing Things, Hello Mary Lou, Yesterday’s Hero, Today’s Teardrops, The Ship True Love Goodbye, I’m Gonna Find Myself A Girl, Lips Were Redder On You, There’s No Living Without Your Loving, Princess In Rags, Backstage (I’m Lonely), Nobody Needs Your Love, (In The) Cold Light Of Day, The Boss’s Daughter, Somewhere In The Country, Yours Until Tomorrow and She Lets Her Hair Down. Particularly notable is the inclusion of two versions of Something’s Gotten Hold Of My Heart. The later version features Marc Almond and dates from 1989, while the main body of the collection concentrates on Pitney’s recordings from the 1960s.
