Peter Schulz, Heinz Meyer and Rolf Igneé played music together as early as the late 1930s, and their long professional career began in 1945, after which the (three) Peheiros were regulars in (north) German classrooms, festival tents and'colourful evening' stages throughout the country for decades.

The cheerful mood trio recorded several hundred records (singles and LPs) during this time - and even if the people of Bremen never appeared in the official sales hit parades, their lively, always with a good portion of winking eyes are still unforgotten today. A car tire is hanging on the wall, Susi, say sour cream or something like that. ..Referee (composition or texts written by Ronny explorer Hans Hee) have long been part of the celebrated standard repertoire of countless good-humor combos.

The trio's best, most entertaining and successful works have now been bundled for the first time on a CD entitled'Water is for washing'.
