Hailing from Wolverhampton in the UK, The Montanas produced a string of singles from 1965 to 1969, many of which were produced and written by Tony Hatch for the Pye label before moving to MAM.
BGO Records is indebted to Austin Powell and The Montanas for securing the rights to almost half of the tracks, and to Katrine Lee for allowing us to use her recordings.
Contains all Pye recordings, including the US single “I'm Gonna Change” and the MAM and Charisma recordings.
