Included for the first time on CD are the band's three studio albums, which are now expensive collector's items from the 70s.

- Also included is the million-selling 1972 hit single 'Mouldy Old Dough': it reached #1 in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, as well as the Top 10 in Canada and Australia, and in most of mainland Europe.

- The Top 20 follow-up 'Desperate Dan' is featured, as are singles like 'I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen' (#3 in Australia), 'And The Fun Goes On', 'Oxford Bags' and 'You Are My Heart's Delight'.

'Mouldy Old Dough' has since become the unofficial anthem of banger races, played at tracks across the country at the start of races. In New Zealand, the song has also been used to promote the national lottery!

The lyrics are by longtime pigeon fan, Times journalist and Record Collector columnist and St. Etienne member Bob Stanley.

Band members Rob Woodward and Nigel Fletcher have also contributed a brand new, previously unreleased track as a bonus to show that there is still life in the Pigeon!
