Unbelievable what power and creativity our blues titan from the south of Bavaria has. After three great mini-albums and the resulting album Elementary Power at the beginning of the year, it's time again. I Am Not Don Quixote is this time again the appropriate motto and indeed Norbert's names of titles and albums always have current time reference. For those who don't know the Anti-Don-Quixote alias Norbert Egger (see tile picture by Holger Frank Dunke) and his projects yet, here is a short introduction. The musician, composer, book author has been the creative wire-puller for Hamburg's City Blues Connection since 1979. After a lot of live work, 4 albums, one even with Louisiana Red, there was a break in 1988. Then sporadic work and performances, October 2016 premiere as a powerful 20-piece rhythm & blues big band, which then recorded Anna Liza in 2017 and put the live in the center of the performance. Norbert's variable grouping Natural Blues, equally long in the service, was also already very close to the pulse of time with the two EPs Shame On You, Mr. Trump (theme: Donald Duck megalomania) and I Can't Breathe (theme: racism). The current work Nicht-gegen-Windmühlen-Kämpfen (Don't fight windmills) seamlessly ties in with this.
