Probably the most persistent and enthusiastic requests from my fans for something outside the blues genre have been the repeated calls to record a tribute to Bob Dylan. As with all my recordings, it's the songs that move me most deeply and touch my heart and soul that I record.

Rory Block takes a break from her award-winning Power Women of The Blues series, which has spotlighted female songwriters and performers on her last three albums, and showcases her skills as a fingerpicker and traditional blues arranger to one of the most respected leading artists and songwriters of all time: Bob Dylan.

Rory plays all the instruments herself, combining acoustic and slide guitars as well as drums and acoustic bass to create a unique arrangement of Dylan's songbook.
