(2000 'Scana') (65:01/15) Die neuste Sensation aus Stockholm sind diese beiden jungen Gitarristen mit ihrer Band. Beide sind in den 20ern; der eine orientiert sich eher an Junior Watson, der andere an Magic Sam und Otis Rush. Und das gibt eine prickelnde Mischung, die wahrlich unbekümmert und energiegeladen klingt. Der Gesang ist ebenfalls ausgesprochen gut, und dann kommen noch ein paar hochkaratige Gäste hinzu. Da es fast ausschließlich eigene Nummern gibt, ein hörenswertes Retro-Album mit viel Spielwitz / this is the latest blues sensation from Stockholm. These two young guitar players are in their twens. Both love to play. Daniel is more into the west coast players like Junior Watson; Emil digs the classic westside players like Otis Rush or Magic Sam. Together they are producing an exciting, high-energy version of today's retro blues. Nice surprise with mostly originals, and a list of great guests.
