Johnny Moeller BlooGaLoo!

His fans, me included, have waited a long time for his first solo album. Moeller got well-known and respected as the guitar player in Kim Wilson's band. Johnny plays the blues with his razor-sharp trademark tone. He's also known for his dynamic soloing. This album, recorded during the course of the past years, sound pretty disappointing. Without any doubt, Johnny is a fantastic player. But he's also a weak singer. Along with an often wishy-washy sound, and the extremely short playing time it all sums-up to a rather disappointing release. - Digipak.
