Loudon Wainwright III Haven't Got The Blues (Yet) (CD)

“Haven't Got The Blues (Yet),” or “HGTB(Y)” for short, is the 26th album in Loudon Wainwright III's illustrious career. The new album is the follow-up to the successful 2012 album “Older Than My Old Man Now,” or as Wainwright himself calls it, “his death and decay opus.”
On “HGTB(Y)”, he offers his fans 14 songs that deal with depression, drinking, senior citizen life, gun control, heartbreak, animal husbandry and obscure parking practices in NYC. The album was produced by a long-time friend of Loudon's: David Mansfield.
The album features top musicians Tony Trischka (banjo), Steve Elson (sax), Sammy Merendion (drums), Tim Luntzel (bass), and Chaim Tannenbauch (backing vocals).
