The Houserockers nichts mehr beweisen, sondern haben noch viel zu geben. Ihr neues Album Shake
It Loose! feiert ein seltenes Jubiläum: drei Jahrzehnte Groove, Schweiß und unermüdliche
Blues-Leidenschaft.
Von den ersten Tönen von „On My Mind” bis zum entspannten Finale von „Late Night Swing”
bietet dieses Album genau die Energie und Spielfreude, die nur eine eingespielte Band mit
echter Bühnenerfahrung vermitteln kann. Zwischen robusten Eigenkompositionen und sorgfältig
ausgewählten Coverversionen werden Jump Blues, klassischer R&B und Piano-Grooves à la New
Orleans miteinander vermischt – wobei Rogers unverwechselbarer Gesang und sein Mundharmonikaspiel stets im Mittelpunkt stehen.
Zur Stammbesetzung – Roger C. Wade (Gesang, Mundharmonika), Marion Wade (Klavier), T-Man Michalke
(Gitarre), Stephan „Roffi“ Roffmann (Kontrabass) und Micha Maass (Schlagzeug) – gesellen sich
hochkarätige Gäste wie die Saxophonlegenden Sax Gordon und Tommy Schneller.
Jaska Prepula verleiht drei Tracks mit seinem E-Bass zusätzliche Tiefe.
Shake It Loose! wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail aufgenommen und abgemischt – ganz im Sinne der
alten Schule.
Es ist mehr als nur ein Album: Es ist ein Fest, gepresst auf Vinyl. Eine Hommage
an die Vergangenheit, aber mit Blick auf die Zukunft. Und vor allem ein Beweis dafür, warum
diese Band seit 30 Jahren erfolgreich ist: starke Songs, tiefes Gefühl und eine

In the last twenty-five years, Roger C. Wade (harp/vocals) has become a stalwart on the European stage of traditional blues harmonica players. Both powerful and deeply rooted in the blues, his musical approach is not only appreciated by those familiar with the genre but also those that are not. Spontaneity, humour and a large helping of stage presence have enthused audiences for more than 25 years throughout Europe.

Born in 1968 in Norwich, England, Roger discovered his love for traditional blues in the mid 1980s. After busking on the streets of England, Roger moved to Germany, where he played in his first blues band in the early 90s, first as a sideman then as both singer and harp player. Since then, he has been in numerous bands, including his own band Little Roger & The House- rockers and his latest duo The Night Walkers. Roger has brought out 8 CDs under his own name and appeared as a guest on others.

Having had the idea for this project and the CD you are holding in your hand, he is very plea- sed and honoured to get so many great musicians to join forces and present you their blues!
