Tommy Schneller
Born and raised in the blues town of Osnabrück, Germany, saxophonist, singer and all-round performer Tommy Schneller has been active in the music scene for more than 30 years. Tom- my has earned his reputation not only as a consummate sideman for numerous international artists but also with his own projects. His seven-piece “Tommy Schneller Band” presents a blend of funk, rock, soul and a pinch of jazz whilst always highlighting their blues roots.
Tommy has produced seven albums under his own name since 1997, with “Smiling for a Rea- son” (2011) and “Backbeat” (2016) were awarded the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, one of Germany’s leading honours.
