Als ich Thomas Schönherr 1995 in einer Bremer Hotelbar kennenlernte, konnte ich nicht wissen, welche Folgen diese Begegnung haben würde. Die lockere Verabredung, doch vielleicht einmal gemeinsam 'etwas in Sachen Oldies' im Radio zu machen, wurde zu einer langen und erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit und zu einem Radio-Format, das bundesweit seinesgleichen sucht. Heute ist die OLDIE-BÖRSE ein Garant für die erfolgreiche Suche nach verlorenen Plattenschätzen und ein Pool von Raritäten der Rock- und Popgeschichte vergangener Jahrzehnte. Bremens größter Plattensammler wurde zu einem verlässlichen Ansprechpartner in Sachen Titelsuche - für die Hörerschaft suchte und fand Thomas Schönherr akribisch und leidenschaftlich alles, was vielen Menschen musikalisch an Herz und Ohr gewachsen ist. Unzählige Briefe, Faxe und Emails zeugen von dem Dank und der Freude unserer 'Kundschaft', die mittlerweile weit über unser Sendegebiet hinaus verstreut ist.
