Following the recent success of BB King and Bobby “Blue” Bland's joint double album, Together For The First Time... Live, the addition of another King could only double the impact. The concert at the Memphis Blues Festival in Tennessee on November 8, 1975, promised to be an explosive encounter between the artists and the audience, delving into the darkest corners of their respective repertoires while flirting with new material. Bland was still relatively young compared to the Kings, who were in their fifties at the time, but the spirit of the blues is a force of nature that never falters, regardless of age. Original FM recording remastered by professionals, with liner notes and rare archival photos.
