A dusty and atmospheric blues project created by Irish singer/songwriter Richard Farrell and Danish producer/bassist Laust "Krudtmejer" Nielsen. Bringing together the fruits of blues, gospel and soul with modern production techniques, Trainman Blues have received much praise and garnered a dedicated fan base throughout Denmark, Europe and the United States. Their debut album was named Best Blues Album at the 2018 Danish Music Awards. Their second release, Shadows and Shapes, was released in early 2021. It received excellent reviews and again won not only the award for Best Blues Album at the DMAs, but also for Best Live Band. Their new live album, Live from the Station, was released on March 24 and is nominated for another Danish Music Award in 2022.
