"Tom Toxic"

'Das Tom Toxic Tollhaus Trio' existiert seit Anfang 2013, damals noch als 'Tom Toxic Solo Projekt' ins Leben gerufen, um die Songs des ersten Solo-Albums auf die Bühne bringen zu können. Nach ersten Umbesetzungen und nachdem der Name immer wieder mit Toms wirklichen Solo-Auftritten kollidierte, trat die Band Anfang 2014 im Hamburger Logo erstmals als 'Das Tom Toxic Tollhaus Trio' auf.

Seitdem stand Tom mit seinen Jungs schon einige Dutzend Mal auf der Bühne und begeisterte die Fans im LOGO/Hamburg, MAU-Club/Rostock, Volksbad/Flensburg, Heartbreak Hotel/Hannover oder auch bei großen Veranstaltungen, wie der Kieler Woche oder der Cash-Nacht auf der Kieler Krusenkoppel.

'Das Tom Toxic Tollhaus Trio' spielt ursprünglichen Rockabilly mit deutschen Texten, angelehnt an den Sun Sound von Johnny Cash und Elvis Presley, wobei besonders von Ersterem viele Songs von Tom ins Deutsche übertragen wurden. Aber auch Klassiker von anderen Interpreten, sowie viele Eigenkompositionen, werden im Tollhaus Gewand präsentiert: Rhythmusgitarre und Gesang, Kontrabass und Fender Telecaster, hier und da garniert mit Toms Mundharmonika.
