In addition to nine singles that charted on the U.S. R&B charts, the set also includes the five original Atlantic albums and 12 non-album tracks.
This comprehensive collection of the soulful quartet (Cissy Houston, Estelle Brown, Sylvia Shemwell and Myrna Smith), signed by Atlantic head Jerry Wexler in 1967, is the voice behind a host of hits including Solomon Burke, The Drifters, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, Wilson Pickett and many others.

The album, arranged chronologically by recording sessions, also includes eight tracks with Ann Williams, who replaced Cissy Houston. It was produced by Dave Crawford and Brad Shapiro and was originally intended for release as a complete LP, but was never released in its entirety until now.

With outstanding liner notes by renowned U.S. author/essayist Tim Dillinger, including extensive quotes from Estelle Brown especially for this reissue, and produced by SoulMusic Records founder David Nathan, with mastering by Nick Robbins and artwork by Roger Williams.
