David Edward Sutch was a British singer and politician. He owed his stage name and fantasy title Screaming Lord Sutch, Third Earl Of Harrow to his singing style, which was often compared to that of Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Screamin' Lord Sutch is considered a trailblazer for later shock rockers like Alice Cooper and Lizzy Borden.

Now out on Esoteric Recordings is the reissue of the band's 1970 debut LP, Lord Sutch And Heavy Friends, which features guest appearances by various acclaimed musicians including Jimmy Page, John Bonham, Jeff Beck, Noel Redding and Nicky Hopkins.
