Cat Stevens: Tea For The Tillerman (2-CD, Ltd.)

(Island Records) 25 Tracks, Digibook, Hardcover, Limited Deluxe Edition.
Following his spiritual and artistic rebirth, and shortly after his incredibly well-received release "Mona Bone Jakon," Cat Stevens introduced his second album of the year in November 1970 ... and it was to become one of the defining musical statements of the new decade.
Not only did "Tea For The Tillerman" solidify Cat's success in the UK and launch a glittering new career in the U.S., it also set him on the path to global superstardom, giving the world songs like "Wild World," "Father & Son," "Where Do The Children Play?" and many more.

Celebrating the album's 50th anniversary, this expanded 2CD edition includes a stunning new 2020 remaster of "Tea For The Tillerman" by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road, overseen by original producer Paul Samwell-Smith, plus a second disc of demos and live rarities and a booklet with extensive booklet notes.
