With the shining talent of a young Steve Winwood, the Spencer Davis Group achieved commercial success with their fifth 45 record, 'Keep On Running', which was a No. 1 in the UK and a hit throughout Europe. "Somebody Help Me" was also a UK No. 1 and a European hit, "Gimme Some Lovin'' and I'm A Man' were both US Top Ten hits. Winwood left the band in 1967 to form Traffic, and the band continued before finally calling it quits in 1974.
