Trip To Houten (1994) is the third album of the Wesel Rock'n'Roll Band feat GÖTZ ALSMANN on piano re-released on Part. THE SPEEDOS went to Houten (Holland) in 1994 to record this album. This resulted in 17 enchantingly beautiful and stylish rock'n'roll songs, with the original compositions penned by singer and guitarist OLAF PRINZ. Congenial covers (e.g. Just A Gigolo, Summertime, Don't Get Me Wrong) complete the picture. The strengths of the band, which still plays around 140 live gigs a year, are certainly the great sovereignty of the musicians, the perfect lead vocals countered by beautiful backings and the smart variety in the song selection of the SPEEDOS.
