Hand On Heart - Punk legends Cock Sparrer announce their 8th and final album on vinyl, splatter vinyl, picture disc, CD, cassette and digital formats! In 2024 Cock Sparrer will release their 8th (and final!) studio album ˜Hand On Heart. No one (including the band) expected new songs after the excellent ˜Forever album from 2017. But Lockdown arrived and with plenty of time and plenty to say, the band recorded their strongest album yet. 10 new songs, all with the typical anthemic sound Sparrer are known for, with a few surprises thrown in. Hooks, melodies, strong mob choruses and string arranger Simon Dobson (Bring Me The Horizon / Mike Oldfield) adding something classic and unique to a track that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck. The band have always had great songs, but usually the studio budget went down the drain! Not so with ˜Hand On Heart. Produced by James Bragg and guitarist Daryl Smith, they brought in 2022 Grammy award-winning UK Mastering Engineer of the year, Kevin Tuffy, for the final mastering. The result is the best-sounding album of their 52-year career.
