The singer, who hails from Coimbra, Portugal, has been active as a solo artist since 2005, after learning her craft with her band The Boppin' Boozers. The artist, who has since lived alternately in the US and France, has become a globally sought-after act at major rockabilly events.
After her fabulous debut “Train to Satansville,” Rhythm Bomb invited her to the Lightning Recorders studio in Berlin and put together a top-class studio band with producer and drummer Axel Praefcke and The Round Up Boys (Ike Stoye, Michael Kirscht, Carsten Harbeck). This perfect setup resulted in 14 outstanding songs that Ruby Ann swings through the most beautiful retro styles with interdisciplinary ease.
