David Quinn's reputation should already be a familiar one to fans and contemporaries in the Americana and country scene. His third album, entitled Country Fresh, makes no bones about what his latest flavor is. Country Fresh was born from the logo of a decades-old ashtray he found in a corner of Nashville's Sound Emporium when he went looking for his latest album. The amber glass had seen better days, but it was the words Country Fresh printed in the old font on the side that caught Quinn's attention. "I never stopped thinking about it and started using the phrase Country Fresh to describe my life and all the things I like. It just stuck with me, and when I wrote the song Country Fresh, that ended up being the whole theme of the record."
