After a needed break, Pittman returned in 2008 planning to record one album a year. Now he releases this raw new album "Hard Road" recorded live in the studio in Austin with his new trio - no overdubs.

Singer / guitarist Shawn Pittman is actually from Oklahoma and moved to Dallas, Texas when he was seventeen, where he attended Booker T Washington High School of the Performing Arts. He dropped out of this and took up his music education at Schooner's Jam in Dallas, where he first met Sam Myers. According to Pittman, Sam Myers was one of the best musicians he had ever played with! Additional guidance and inspiration came from local musicians Mike Morgan and Hash Brown.

After a much needed break from the music business from 2005 to 2008, Pittman returned and planned to record one album a year. Now he releases this raw new album Hard Road, recorded live in the Austin studio with his new trio - no overdubs.
