Compilation of Lee-'Scratch'-Perry productions, all from original 7" singles from 1973-79.
All selections were recorded at The Black Ark Studio, Kingston Jamaica. Due to the destruction of the original tapes, all cuttings were made from vinyl-rip and elaborately restored by See Why Audio of London.
This release is one of two separate but accompanying albums; this, the first, contains all A-sides or vocals of the participating singles. Soon the instrumental or "dub" versions of the respective flip sides of all singles will be released on a separate LP.
