Alongside recordings of their three singles ‘When The Work Is Through’, originally released on an extremely rare 1965 flexidisc by Leeds Students Charity Rag, ‘Just One More Chance’, released on Deram in 1967, and ‘Great Train Robbery’, recorded in 1968 for Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham's Immediate label, here are 31 nuggets recorded during the same period. The hard-working band played legendary clubs such as the Cavern in Liverpool, Club A' Gogo in Newcastle and the Mojo in Sheffield, and these impressive songs prove that they could have made a great album if given the chance.
Jeff Christie, who later found fame with the band Christie, who topped the charts with “Yellow River” in 1970, was interviewed for the booklet notes by Lois Wilson of MOJO Magazine.
