The album includes the single of the same name "Wild World" as well as the songs "She's Mine" and Southpaw.
With one exception, Moore co-wrote all 13 tracks of "Wild World", combining deeply personal words with live recordings of an entire band. Moore admits that the result has a few quirks - but that's exactly what gives the album the character he values so much.

"I hope this album provokes a little honesty," says Moore. "All I want to do is make music that reaches people in an unadulterated sense - something that's light and easy to take with you, but weighs a thousand pounds, and I think "Wild World" is simply a representation of what I see. Life is a crazy, wild ride. But it can be so easy if we look for the right things".
