John R. Miller Heat Comes Down (CD)

(Rounder Records) 11 tracks, digisleeve

In 2021, Miller made his mark on the music scene with his debut album, Depreciated, released on Rounder Records. The album was highly praised, and No Depression described it as a creation that "casually heads toward a complete existential breakdown that will leave you gasping for air." But it was on the follow-up album, Heat Comes Down, that Miller underpinned his status as a profound musical storyteller.
