Well, you've heard of Wanda Jackson, Janis Martin and Marti Brom, but have you ever heard of Imelda Clabby? Imelda Clabby from Ireland was married to one of the most popular rockabilly artists, Darrel Higham! She had already made several appearances on his albums and then established herself as a solo artist with a leading swing band with great impact and from then on called herself Imelda May.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Imelda began her career as a child with success in various musicals throughout Ireland. This led to some television work such as the Late, Late Show and appearances in The Olympia, The Gaiety and the National Concert Hall. She then began an extended tour at Satchmo's, Dublin's Premier Jazz Restaurant and toured Ireland extensively with greats such as Richie Buckley, Mary Stokes, Kirsty McCall and Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood.

You'll tremble and tremble as she twitters her melodies and rocks through these 14 rock'n'roll tracks. A really highly recommended release! The debut album of Darrel Higham's better half! Imelda May! With new vocal overdubs!
